OUR FOUNDER
Carla Salinas, a 39-year-young woman ALIVE in Boulder County, CO and a HAPPY survivor of the 2nd most deadly form of brain cancer, cofounded Circle of Hearts, with this vision:
May all beings be empowered to actively survive cancer with Integrative Approaches!
Carla Salinas infuses passion and creativity in all she does, espcially managing Circle of Hearts. She also enjoys practicing Biodynamic Craniosacral, Polarity and Massage Therapies, and teaching classes of KripaluYoga Dance and Back to Kindergarden Cancer Coaching.
HISTORY
Carla was the inspiration in 1997 for some friends join together to create an organization called The Circle of Hearts Network with its Mother-corporation and Fiscal Sponsor being The Solstice Institute. They raised funds totalling over $400,000 and helped 3 beneficiaries to heal with Integrative Medicine.
Finally Integrative Cancer Resources (DBA Circle of Hearts) was birthed in the Spring of 2005! The vision has grown to include having the “Circle” model a fun and gentle lifestyle that promotes wellness.
On Circle of Hearts board are: Carla Salinas (President/Cofounder), Peggy Quinn (Vice President), Pat Blakey (Secretary) , and Scott Smith (Treasurer).
